WHAT’S CHIP BENJAMIN ABOUT?
Chip Benjamin is a Black-owned creative studio and IP company developing original content across film, television, video games, music, and fashion.
Founded with the belief that culture is currency, we specialize in storytelling that is bold, intelligent, and rooted in the Black experience — past, present, and future. Our slate includes both original IP and cultural tributes to legacy properties that have inspired our generation. Whether it's a gritty fight game inspired by mixtape culture and classic hip-hop titles, an action game reimagined through the lens of stealth and samurai combat, or a sci-fi epic rooted in Black American and Ancient Egyptian history — our work is genre-bending, world-building, and always authentic.
We approach existing IP with respect, creativity, and transformative vision, crafting compelling interpretations that merge fan energy with original storytelling — while laying the foundation for our own franchises and cinematic universes.
With deep roots in storytelling, education, and creative direction, Chip Benjamin blends entertainment and equity — developing IP that not only entertains but also educates, empowers, and leaves a legacy.
WHAT’S OUR MISSION?
Our mission is to create, develop, and own culturally driven intellectual property that transcends format — transforming stories into immersive experiences across film, television, video games, music, and fashion.
Through bold vision, creative innovation, and cultural authenticity, Chip Benjamin empowers underrepresented voices and reimagines storytelling for a new generation — one rooted in legacy, fueled by creativity, and built for the future.
